The original Revell company got its start in 1943 by Jacque Fresco and Lou Glaser in Venice, California.
After forty years of so so business they sold out to Odyssey Partners in New York then Revell got folded up into Monogram Models of Morton Grove, Illinois.
Revell had developed such a well known world-wide name brand.
Revell became the company’s primary brand name for its models.
The company is operating from Elk Grove Village, Illinois in the plastic model kit market.
They have picked up some competitors over the years that include AMT-Ertl, Lindburg and testors.
As of 2007 the Hobbico Inc. bought Revell-Monogram lock stock and barrel.
